A salty warm breeze, the sound of waves crushing and people playing, the beach during the summer is a place where life is "go-with-the-flow". So forget your schedules, your rushing to appointments and the stress of work and enjoy Summer 2012, fleeting and temporary.

Artist Kasla Domanska gives us her view of the beach. Bright sunight plays a decisive role in her paintings, as do the compositions and her passion for nature's sea-side beauty, in all of its forms.

These paintings are brightness, joy, sunlight and idyllic visions allowing the viewer to celebrate Summer, all year long.

FOOD
A 4th of July BBQ

Want to BBQ some chicken this weekend?
We offer a new marinade for chicken.

Spicy, Salty & Sweet
CHICKEN MARINADE

1/4 cup Mirin
1/4 cup light Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Teriaki Sauce
1/4 cup Mayonaise
1 tsp chili sauce (your choice)

Blend all ingredients until they form an emulsion.
Pierce 6 chicken breasts or 8 thighs with a fork several times - Place chicken, along with the marinade, into a large plastic zip-lock bag, seal and coat thoroughly. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes - up to over night.

Remove chicken from marinade and grill as you normally would your BBQ chicken.
(CAUTION: Keep a squirt water bottle near by, mayo is oil, the drippings from the marinade may cause the flames to flair-up too much.)

ENJOY the Summer!

Until later,
Jack
